IDC Horizontal Model Isolation Panel
The IDC horizontal model isolation panel is characterized by having hospital-grade duplex power outlets and a ground contact on the front of the panel, and it serves to minimize the risk of electrical discharges that can cause serious damage or even death to patients undergoing invasive procedures. The use of this panel is regulated by the STANDARD: NOM-001-SEDE-2012 article 517
PANEL APPLICATION
The IDC isolation panel is typically installed in hallways and classified areas where electrical installation is required above 1.52m from the finished floor.
Critical Care Areas: Intensive Care (adult, pediatric, and neonatal), Intermediate Care, Operating Rooms, Recovery Area, Short-Stay Surgery, Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery, Coronary Care Units, Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Burn Unit, Angiography Rooms, Computed Tomography Rooms, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Rooms, Radiotherapy Cabinet, and/or similar areas in which patients are subject to invasive procedures.
